Privacy Policy

Any Day Now is a free app for kids’ routines and chores. This page says, in plain English, what we keep about your family, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address, your display name, and the sign-in details needed to log you in.
  • Child profiles you create: first names and avatars. Children do not have their own logins or accounts.
  • What you and your kids do in the app: routines and tasks, task completions, points and prizes, food logs, and game results.
  • Messages you send us through the reach-out form: your name, email address and what you wrote.
  • Ordinary server logs that any website produces, such as request times and browser type.

We don’t ask for children’s last names, birthdays, addresses, photos, or locations. Please don’t type them in.

Why we collect it

To run the app: to sign you in, show each child their own list, keep the points balance right, and show you what happened. That is the whole reason. We don’t use it for anything else.

No selling, no ads

We do not sell or rent your family’s information. There are no ads, no ad networks, no analytics, and no tracking pixels.

Who handles the data for us

A few services store or run the app on our behalf. They may only use your data to provide that service to us.

  • Supabase hosts our database and handles sign-in.
  • Vercel hosts the website and keeps ordinary server logs.
  • Cloudflare runs the bot check on our forms and delivers messages sent through the reach-out form to our inbox.
  • Sentry, an error tracker, once we switch it on. Its reports describe what broke (the error, the page, the browser). We don’t send your family’s routines, names, or points to it on purpose.

Children and parental consent

You, the parent or guardian, are the account holder, and you must be 18 or older. Children never create accounts. When you add a child profile you are giving consent for us to handle that child’s first name, avatar, and activity as described here. You’re also the one who controls it: you can change or remove anything on a child profile, or ask us to export or delete it, at any time. We don’t knowingly collect information from a child without a parent’s involvement. If you think a child has given us information on their own, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Export and deletion

You can ask for a copy of your family’s data, or for it to be deleted, whenever you like. Email privacy@anydaynow.family from the address on your account and we’ll act on it. You can also ask us to delete a single child’s profile and everything attached to it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our database within 30 days. Copies in routine backups and in provider server logs age out on those providers’ normal schedules.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to each family’s data is restricted to that family’s account. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute protection, but we take care with it and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the effective date at the top and tell account holders by email.
